1. Terrorism works because you simply dont have to win any battles outright.. all you have to do is instill the FEAR into people.

2. Terrorism is low budget.. it dosent require massive budgets or organised armies its a grass roots "people" movement.

3. It also works because one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.

4. It is a way for the common person to actually wage war against a large government entity and actually win.

Opps you only asked for 3.. OK #4 was a bonus.. I have more too LOL...

If you actually think about it the American Revolution was a terrorist action by our definitions of the day...

George Bush terrorized America so he could trample on their rights and freedoms. He kept everyone in fear so he could easily justify a pointless war in Iraq while letting the real bad guys get away. By instilling fear in the population Bush was able to fool everyone into thinking he was a competent leader and that allowed him to win the 2004 election..

Two reason that are perfect enough!

People fear anothers death more than they fear their own... Simply because they will not witness their own.

Terrorists try to cause revolt within the system... FOr instance the peopl of the US are the system since they vote for their politicians. The terrorist want something... they simly bomb something and people get scared, wet their pants, and blame it on their politicians which causes the terrorist to win that battle... Then when the vote sways to the terrorists favor... They win the war.

Just watch.
