i see him as a politician. though i like his radio show as well. hes said hes not standing at the next election though so will be concentrating on his work in other areas i think its a shame though hes the most honest politician weve got.

I think he's actually a better politician now than he used to be, but he's always been self seeking media machine, who tends to twist the truth to his own ends, practically made it into an art form in fact.

I met him once at a Labour Party function way back in the early 1980s. After speaking to him for about five minutes, I decided that I wouldn't trust him as far as I could comfortably spit out a rat. I haven't changed that opinion, but have to admit a sneaking admiration for his political savvy.
