In a perfect world, yes. But the only way things will change if if MILLIONS of Americans get off their collective lazy butts and protest. A few people signing a petition just doesn't cut it.

No. YOu have to remember that Vermont elected a socilaist representative to Congress, so you have to take the people of Vermont into context. They also elected Howard Dean, which should tell you something.
