Sura (8:12) - I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them
Sura (9:5) - So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them
Sura (9:111) - Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.
Sura (9:123) - O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness

You just showed why the drive by media's portrayal of Islam as a religion of peace is a lie. Islam is a religion of nutjobs.

You'll find plenty of the same garbage in the Old Testament and Torah. Genocide, murdering women and children, collective punishment, you name it.
All the Abrahamic religions are rooted in barbarism.
It took Jesus Christ to set things straight - funny though, the evangelical wing of the Republican party seems to still embrace the hatred and intolerance in the old Jewish law.
Oh, one more thing. Believing that it's okay to do something illegal is not a crime. Only acting on it is. At least per the United States definition of justice. Are you interested in imposing 1984-style "thoughtcrime"?

I thought your God was a God of peace. He sounds like a bloodthirsty maniac.
Why would a real God be so passionately upset about someone who didn't believe in him? Does he have an easily bruised ego? Sounds like a serious character flaw to me.

If someone thinks that is what his God wants I would say yes. Even if that person does not intend to do that sort of thing, he most likely supports such action and probably aides abets and supports those that do.

Wrong translation.
There are millions and millions of Muslims around the world, inside and outside US and almost all of them hate US government because of Israel.
If that was true, imagine what would happen.
??????????????????????????????
Thin about it.
Logically, I don't believe the statement above is right.
These verses for wars situations only.
i.e. in wars against occupiers.
There are millions and millions of Jewish and Christians have been living in Middle East countries, including Jerusalem, peacefully for hundreds of years.

Honestly, that is why I have never agreed with the beliefs of Islam. A lot of the Qur'an is based on violence.

it all depends on if he actually does it. if he doesnt, i believe he isnt quite a threat, but if he (or she, believe it or not) does, they are a murderer and should die along with alquida.
the bible says in the old testament: an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. the new testament says: go the extra mile for everyone.
personally, being in highschool, i believe the old testament is right. kill all who kill innocents. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!
