i just got a speeding ticket in Georgia and the State patrol officer didn't ask me if i wanted him to calibrate his radar or if i wanted to verify the speed that he stated i was traveling in any way. He didn't even tell me why he had pulled me over he just got my information and came back with a ticket and said i was traveling 90 in a 70 mph zone. Can I fight this since the cop didn't ask if i wanted to verify my speed in any way? also where can I find a law that states whether it is contestable or not. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have about 90 credits over 5 years time, and I am not sure what I want to major in now. I am thinking of joining the national call to serve(15 months active duty, basic, AIT) or 2-3 year option in Army. I'm interested in 44C (Financial Mgt. Technician). If I go ahead one more year of college(bachelor's of science in Liberal Studies), can I join as an E-4 instead of E-3? Army has shorter terms and can chose MOS as opposed to Air Force. My husband is a Health Care Specialist for over 4 years(E-4). We're in Oahu. He wants to be officer, and eventually retire in Army. We are trying to get a solid foundation before we have kids. I would like to contribute more since I am not getting anywhere fast with my schooling. Any suggestions, additional information regarding enlistment lenghts, choice of MOS, college options, etc? What about both spouses military arrangements? We are 23 and 22 btw. Better to just join now or worth it to finish to get Liberal Studies(BS)?

we need a guest worker program so that people don't have to sneak in our country, and therefore, we can really enable your good folks to be able to focus on terrorism, drug runners, gun runners. HUH ?http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/02/20070208-5.html

I'd like to know who feels victimized by participants in this forum who have differing opinions from those asking political questions, or Yahoo directly? I'm not basing this on a liberal or conservative point of view. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, up until recently anyway.

Maybe Democrats or Liberals if you prefered to be called that can answer this question for me. All i am hearing lately from democrats is that we should end the war. But What I dont hear is an Alternative strategy from the Presidents plan. If there is one can you share it with the rest of us?

Conservatives always say they hate Liberals (not blaming all), but Jesus said "Love your enimes". So shouldn't they give more respect to our views, and a least take time to learn about them? Your calling us wrong because you think your 100% right. Don't blame all of us for a mistake one Liberal did. I respect you, and your views too, and I do not judge people by first impressions.
Like I said before, not blaming all Conservatives for this

because I don't I think that its like being on drugs we are dependent on oil (as a person on drugs is dependent on drugs) and we won't stop using oil until something awful happens like you know how it can cause like earthquakes which are directly connected to the plates that are connected to the volcanos and if a super volcano erupts then its said it will block out the sun and if that happens it'll kill like almost all the people we'll do studies and then stop (just like when a person on drugs OD's and almost dies) then i think we will stop using oil. plz no people that just say yes or no give detailed explainations as to why you feel as you do

My husband is currently serving in Iraq and we have been told we may be going to several different places within a few months of him getting out. he gave me an 800# to call to check it. its 1800 fyi ----. I can't remember what the whole thing was but he said all you have to do is put you ssn in on the phone and it will tell you where you are going if your duty station is decided already. Is this true, and if it is, what is the whole phone number?
