I'd like to know who feels victimized by participants in this forum who have differing opinions from those asking political questions, or Yahoo directly? I'm not basing this on a liberal or conservative point of view. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, up until recently anyway.

The question again was "I'd like to know who feels victimized by participants in this forum who have differing opinions from those asking political questions, or Yahoo directly?" I didn't say that I feel victimized. My point of view will continue to be. If you ask any question, be prepared for any response. I have heard from numerous friends on Yahoo Answers that they feel victimized by others utilizing this forum. This is an unscientific survey for myself and the friends I mentioned earlier.

I have certainly been annoyed by participants, and indeed even been the personal recipient of direct insults. I certainly believe that people misuse the question/answer forum as a discussion forum. All the trolls from the old discussion option after articles have made their way over here. However, I do not care for the use of the word "victim." I disagree that you aren't basing this on a liberal or conservative point of view, as I think the victim mentality is a very liberal notion. I think I share your frustration with a good many ignorant answers that people throw about here, including ones that are littered with foul language, personal insults, and poor attempts at jokes; however, I tire of the overuse of the "victim." This victim mentality has made us more compassionate for criminals than their victims, and has allowed people to wallow in the circumstances of their lives, rather than take action to change those things. I would feel victimized if one of these yahoos showed up at my home and attacked me. A few words in an internet forum however, I chalk up to a mere nuissance, and not a real attack. I have been victimized seriously at times in my life, and I don't consider this nonsense one of them. As my mother used to say, "sticks and stones..." You fill in the rest.

Yahoo attracts cranium challenged who thrive working in the direction of opposite Darwinism to the element of being too stupid to renowned how ignorant they sound. Why do you think of Yahoo killed their chat rooms. comparable-comparable. all of us see a great properly concept out mature question being spoke back via organic stupidity. Or questions that in many circumstances sound like they got here out of a 10 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous feebly pretending to be an person whilst in certainty they are adults who won't be in a position to help themselves coming for the time of like a 10 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. and you ask your self why colleges are importing intense college graduates from different international locations.

I find it rather disappointing sometimes becasue when I first signed on I thought this would be a site for intelligent debate. Instead it is predominatly venomous attack after hateful assault, leaving intelligent thought behind. That being said, I do get caught up in it all myself as I become angered at some of the questions and responses posted by those who differ from me.

All in all it is a good place for me to find out how disturbed our populace truly is, and how I can try to help improve things.

First, I would like to say I am a Republican who is totally disgusted with the vast majority of users on this forum who call themselves Republicans.
Here are my observations and opinions about them;
1: They would rather put their own self interests in this president, ahead of the interests of this Nation.
2: They would rather clone, reticule, and demean those who would try to bring serious discussion to this forum, than debate them on their own merits.
3: They also seek to report in an attempt to undermine those stated in #2 in an effort to have those facts removed.
4: and final, history will remember those who stood by while this Nation was robbed, lied to, and stolen from and those that defended those very practices.

Like the fact that you get reported over the smallest things that annoy people? Yes. People are way too sensitive, they need to learn to accept other people's opinions. I have only reported one person the entire time I've been on here, and that was because this guy was saying he hoped another participant got raped.
People need to stop being so 'sensitive'.

I feel victimized by the lame reporting at times, but other than that,not much gets to me.I come on to try to have fun, not to be miserable.They ruffle our feathers, we ruffle theirs. I have met some fun people on both sides in the process.It's fun until someone takes it to the next level with the cloning, etc..
