A guest worker program will not stop them at the border only a good Border Patrol with orders to stop them and the Military to help will,.
The cliche "Guest Worker Program" is a cover for AMNESTY. The ONLY thing that is going to really work, is a fence. A big fence. Then the invasion will be stopped. Then we can address what to do with 15 MILLION freakin' illegal criminals in this country and a bill upon the taxpayers of over $100 BILLION PER YEAR !!! ???

When we realized what we had in the White House and what he was (and still is) doing to America's soverignty and our security. We have no problem sending our troops to fight and die for someone else's soverignty and freedom, but we also leave our borders open to an influx of illegals, terrorists, criminals, disease carriers from God knows where. A very sick scenario.

I think we need to figure out what we are going to do with the ones we have already.
But I am tired of "hearing" about what we should do or might do ..I want action! and now!
Just start already. Thousands are crossing our borders as we speak. While they debate about what we could do ...we DO nothing.
I do think we should start with the ones who have been arrested. Send them back NOW.. and if they are caught back in the country put them in prison for 10 years. Now that is a deterrent.
My first instants is ''just send em back'' but then common sense tells me that is next to imposable. But the drugs brought into this country is a travesty.. and to think that terrorists can just walk across the border and we won't even know until it is too late. I don't have the answer...but I do feel someone has to do something and I don't see our President doing anything...at all...ever.

I believe a guest worker program is a good first step with regards to stemming the tide of illegal immigrants from Mexico.

When you say we need guest workers, you're basically saying that Americans aren't willing or are unable to do a job. In doing so, you have just insulted the American people. Every guest worker in this country means one less job for an American citizen.
