Didn't Jesus say "Love your Enimes"?

Question

Conservatives always say they hate Liberals (not blaming all), but Jesus said "Love your enimes". So shouldn't they give more respect to our views, and a least take time to learn about them? Your calling us wrong because you think your 100% right. Don't blame all of us for a mistake one Liberal did. I respect you, and your views too, and I do not judge people by first impressions.

Yes He did say that. But there seems to be so many who call themselves Christians that seem to have forgotten that line.

I Love liberals. I am just scared at their ideas. There ideas are socialistic and Communistic in nature. It is scary that an actual Presidential Candidate the communistic idea of taking profits from an American company. Miss Clinton wants to take the profits of a public owned company for the government. The bottled water companies make a higher percentage of profits and so does Hollywood and other media companies. Give the government control of this and eventually the government will be able to starve those who disagree with the government. They will be able to control the companies to not hire certain people. Are you a liberal (liberate from government) or Communist (complete government control). George Bush is too liberal for me.The more control you give the government , the better chance you have of not being free. Do you know who has the best written Constitution. It has the most "Rights" and "Freedoms". It is the Russian Constitution. Even though if you talk against the government you can be put in jail. They have no middle class. Don't you like the middle class? Look at the financial issues that are raised when governments take control of companies.

Nobody follows the bible 100%, I dont think liberals and conservatives are enemies in the first place. Everybody seems to think that you are either on one side or the other, I think most people are in the middle with just a few differing viewpoints.

Yes, Christianity is the world's largest religion. However, if you only counted people that actually practiced the doctrines of "Love thy Enemies","Turn the Other Cheek" and the others Christ gave us in Matthew chapter 5, then Christianity is actually the world's smallest religion. No matter what the world would have you believe, Actual pure Christianity remains the world's most radical concept. Just review Matthew Chapter 5 and see if you can live that!

Yes. He also said "turn the other cheek", "blessed are the peacemakers", "judge not least ye also be judged" and many more things that went against the traditions of his time. People that say similar things in America today are labeled as liberals, smeared and demonized; much the same as the Pharisees did to Jesus.

Jesus said to pray for you enemies, I understand what you are saying, I am a republican, I do not know of one republican that thinks that we have it 100% right, I agree with most of the views of my party. If I didn't I wouldn't call myself a republican.
