If you really look at the polls...MOST Americans are for legalizing alcohol under for 16 or 18 or above, MOST Americans are for legalizing marijuana for medical, and non-habitual use (once a month for fun)...MOST Americans, are pro-choice, and approve abortion. MOST Americans, support Israel as an ally, but believe our biased unconditional support of its actions toward our ally will hurt our interests as a nation in the long run (most would prefer a more even handed approach --'fair'--). MOST Americans, believe we shouldn't be in Iraq, MOST Americans believe prostitution, to some degree, should be legalized in order to get rid of prostitutes off the streets (especially near schools), MOST Americans, believe the Christian lobby is composed by a bunch of nutcases, including Christian themselves.
So why the hell do we put up with their policies? We can't get a legalization of things that are just common sense, because it would be uuuuu...blocked by congress...by...them (CL).
