Absolutely agree. Hard to believe a democrat said it. They sure don't believe it now.

Ah ... but what if your government lies to you, commits wars and terror in your name, tortures people etc etc?
I disagree strongly. Rather - prove all things and remember that there ae many wolves out there in sheep's clothing.

I would have agreed with that quote 30 or 40 years ago. Today, it's pretty obvious my country (President) won't do a damned thing for us, no matter how much we do for our country.. our President is too busy catering to corporate interests and OTHER countries.
