They have been killing themselves off for thousands of years, as of the last 60 years or so they have branched out to cause trouble in other regions.

60 years after causing WWII the Germans and Japanese are building and selling cars and TVs to the rest of the world and not promoting violence.
After being reduced to ruble they are now prosperous and productive.

What will it take for mid eastern countries to be able to co exist in peace with the rest of the world?

We tossed a young couple out of the hotel. They were fighting in their room. They destroyed appliances and light fixtures in the room while arguing. They threw these objects at each other. The cops made sure they left but they were not arrested. I understand it will be up to management what happens later.

There are a few things that I'm just not getting and I need help in understanding.

1.) I just don't (honestly) understand how not supporting the current administrations policy on Iraq equates to "not supporting the troops". I don't agree with the decision to go into Iraq (I think it was an unecessary diversion of resources away from Afghanistan). I am a veteran (too old to re-enlist) and support our troops 1000%. They need the right equipment, support for the families they had to leave, more pay for what they do, etc. I just don't get the logic of some who confuse the two issues.
2) Is there something wrong with the amount of troops we've lost being the top story on CNN or any other network? Don't the troops we've lost deserve to be the number one story?
3) When some people refer to "wasted lives", don't you understand that they are refering to the fact that we didn't have to go into Iraq to fight terrorists? Unfortunately, they are there by the bushel now.

Conservatives, do not even have a clue about what the Mission is in Iraq?
They went to Sunday school figured they would learn something, yet show up here right after Church Sunday, and upset over everything. So whats the mission?

1) A legal but lazy CAPABLE ABLE BODIED, no disabilities, US citizen who refuses to work and milks the welfare system while never contributing to his or her own support.
2) An illeagal day worker who performs some type work in return for the wages they recieve.
