Depends. I think if Rudy wins the GOP nomination, which he won't because he's a social liberal, then he'll take the White House. If McCain wins the GOP nomination, he'll lose the presidency because Bush is following McCain's philosphy of more troops...essentially America will view McCain's plan, implemented by Bush, as an enormous failure if the plan fails and the Iraq war continues in 2008. As a result, America will be less likely to vote for McCain only if the Dems nominate Clinton or Gore. That's the way I see it.

Not if those who are making all the money out of the Iraq war have any say in it!..Stand by in the United States for a "Huge terrorist crisis" about a month before the next Presidential elections!..Even if the money people have to blow up a few buildings themselves and say 'Rubbish bin Laden' did it..They will!..See if I'm not right!

No. It's looking like the next "choice between two evils" is devolving into yet another pissing contest. None of the candidates on either side of the aisle are worth electing, as they will NOT do anything to fix the screwups of previous administrations. I'm voting Bugs Bunny '08, the hell with the rest of you.

Pres. Bush has said that he's leaving this mess to the next person, so why would the Dems even want the job.....what if they run a bogus challenge, just so the Reps. can try to clean up their own mess, sounds like a plan for the future(2012)

This "liberation of Iraq" will continue into 2015, quite possibly.

It will continue well past then.It does not matter who is president as long as the country is safe.
I can't believe you would want your own country invaded because your party lost an election.
