They have been killing themselves off for thousands of years, as of the last 60 years or so they have branched out to cause trouble in other regions.
60 years after causing WWII the Germans and Japanese are building and selling cars and TVs to the rest of the world and not promoting violence.
After being reduced to ruble they are now prosperous and productive.
What will it take for mid eastern countries to be able to co exist in peace with the rest of the world?

separation of church and state. Islam is tied tied into their politics, and when you get a bunch of wacked out religious leaders in charge, you get fouled up countries.

Wow you must be an idealist. When has the United States been at peace? Hmm, never starting with the Revolutionary War the United States has ALWAYS been at war. We have a voluntary military and they are paid well enough to be middle class that is why you have this false misconception of peace.
We also have large armed police forces to handle the constant disputes and a pretty good judicial system. Remember that the police being armed, also constitute another army.
It seems like your solution is to reduce the middle east to rubble. Sure that may work short term but it will definitely lay the foundation for WWIII. Thank God you are not a politician because you are definitely very ignorant and arrogant.

Humans from all corners of the globe have been killing each other for thousands of years. It isn't a tradition limited to the Middle East.
Also, in case you didn't know, fifty million people died before Germany and Japan became the democratic and prosperous nations that they are today.

Actually, just the opposite is going to happen. The Mid East mentality, as you put it, is geared to destruction of modern societies, while modern societies' mentality is one of apathy and fear. They will not only conquer the modern societies, they will have you on your knees, worshiping Allah, whether you believe or not. I'm not sure that's a bad thing anymore, It will sure solve a lot of problems for the U.S.

they didnot have a good goverment and they depend on their sources like oil and gaz.
