Wow! Someone really needs to get their facts straightened out.
Fact: EVERY single day Kassam rockets launched from Gaza fall into Israel. Mainly into Sderot.
Fact: Every single day at least one Muslim mother looks forward to the day when her child can blow himself, and "hopefully at least a hundred Jews", up in a crowded souk filled with innocent Arabs, Turks, Christians and Jews.
Fact: When and if Israel ever takes retaliatory action; they target known criminals, never women and children. Dropping leaflets and warning even the terrorists to evacuate targeted areas. Unfortunately their enemies know that the safest place to hide is behind the burkas of their women. And will even place & imprison them in targeted buildings in order to gain world sympathies. This practice has been exposed internationally.
Fact: Israel is the ONLY democracy in the Middle East.
They allow WOMEN (gasp) to vote and even hold positions of leadership. (gasp)
They allow and even encourage Arabs to vote and hold positions of leadership.
Contrast this to Muslim run countries in which women have no rights and are killed for the "crime" of showing their ankles to an unknown man.
Contrast it to Saudi Arabia in particular; where US forces sent to protect the Sauds from the threat of Iraq were forced to hide their Jewish identity or DIE at the hands of the very people they were sent to protect. Because it is against Saudi law for a Jew to set foot on "holy" Saudi ground.
FACT: Israel is the only country that gives its enemies land to get peace, and their enemies use this land to kill them.
One day I hope Israel wises up and takes all the land from her enemies it can finally have peace, or at the very least not be attacked from within its own borders.
SUPER FACT: Israel is bordered on three sides by those who DAILY call for the blood of all her people, the Jews, to fertilize the land.
HOWEVER: She is protected on all sides by God who made an EVERLASTING covenant with the Jews and their land. And Israel will never be lost, though battered and bruised, and Jews will never depart from the land that the Lord almighty promised to their fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Israel is the only country that God says is the apple of his eye. And he will protect her and his holy name forever.

You should get a basic understanding of the Middle East situation. Aside from the fact that it would be undemocratic to the extreme and universally condemned by other countries the pro-Israel members of
Congress and the Senate would hit the ceiling if the President ever ordered such an invasion.The Israelis themselves would
never stand for it and they're not weak. Think U.S. troops are
having a hard time in Iraq? That's nothing compared to what they
would have to go through if the government was crazy enough
to attempt an occupation of Israel.
If you're going to use North Korea as a model,maybe you should
remember the North Korean government has allowed it's own
people to starve while using it's money to build up the military.
Not exactly a good example of a humanitarian country if that's

How can Israel be a big problem when they have never started any wars? Israel has only defended herself against the Arabs. The surrounding countries have consistently attacked Israel for 60 years. Israel has never initiated an attack without provocation!

North Korea is one of the world's most oppressive regimes run by a genuinely insane dictator. The people there are starving and have no rights to speak of. They would gladly trade places to live in the hell hole that is the Gaza strip.
Oh, and by the way, the reason why Gaza gets the description of a "hell hole" is due to being run by Islamic fundamentalists (i.e. Hamas) who do not care a whit about improving the lot of their own people but are instead bent on destroying Israel. Oh, and Hamas is anti semetic too (see their charter).
And even so, I maintain that it is still probably better than North Korea.

I want EVERYONE to do themselves a favor. Get out a map of the Middle East at this time, look at Israel and observe how tiny it is, compared to the vast areas of Arab land surrounding it.

not yet anyway, check news pages today for news that South Korea see's NK as a serious threat now it has tested nukes.
USA is already in Isreal, they are running it by remote control (money) and have been for a long long time, thats why the whole Middle east area is such a mess.
Best keep the USA in the USA they seem to be able to handle it and its people (just) Let the rest of the world handle their own affairs.
