is it un-democratic to limit someones freedom to run for president to two terms. should the American people not be allowed to choose who they want to run the country regardless of how many years they have been in charge.

I need to apply for a US Visa to go on holiday as I can't utilise the Visa-Waiver program as I have a minor conviction. I was wondering what the process of applying for it is? The embassy in London seem INCREDIBLY strict, with about 100 things they'll decline the application for (i.e. if you have a blister on your finger as then they can't take prints).

I understand I need to fill out a non-immigrant form, pay the fee and book an appointment to visit the embassy, but in what order? Do I mail in the form? Also as I have a conviction, what other things do I need? I think I need something showing the court records of the conviction and to fill out other forms. There's absolutely no decent help on their site, and only a £1.20 a minute phone line to help me out!

I am against to hang a person who has lived like a king in his country, lalso to rule a country is not a joke for 30 years for this one has to take such decision. Every ruler in his time has taken such type of decision in their time u can not hang all of them . than why Saddam hussain only faced all this.

really?

and do they come up to random americans, put a gun up to their heads and say "ey, ese, gimme you job"?

or do they perhaps just steal the jobs in the dead of night when people aren't watching them?

what is "stealing a job?"

and who are these people that steal the jobs? where are the illegal immigrant cavalry charging through america and snatching jobs left and right?

last time i checked, anyways, illegals were too busy doing the work that is said to be undesirable work

or wait, did you want to mow that lawn? did you want to pick those strawberries? did you want to clean that toilet?

well then go ahead, be my guest. i'm sure there is still room for people who want to do those things. i doubt we'll have a mob rushing to sign up, though.

and what about these "job stealers?" how exacly did they "steal" a job? all they did was apply and qualify.

if applying and qualifying constitutes stealing, well then we're all robbers

let's go tell those desperately starving people to go

Yes I am pro illegal but I want a reform that will stop the hate that people have here more for the posters than the issue. The issue has become diluted by the strong emotional feelings. We seem to have forgotten the issue and want out feelings known. That's my wish for the new year take it or not.

He does this under the ruse of really needing something. I was called at home on Sat. morning to ask me if I had a certain object. I had forgotten about it and it was in my file cabinet. I told him that I didn't have it. So Monday, he comes into my office, shuts the door, makes up an obviously fictitious reason for having been looking in ALL my file drawers, some of them were still standing open (they are plainly labeled for what he was looking for, and he had on numerous occasions found what he was looking for, so it was not reasonable to think that suddenly he had no clue). He accused me of hiding things from him and told my immediate supervisor, who is my real boss. Since then he has made my life a living hell.He has periodically tried to single me out for this abuse, and it is affecting my health. I cannot quit due to my age/retirement in 15 or so years. How to survive???

The question is entirely legitimate since Jews (outside of Israel) are indeed overwhelmingly liberal and disproportionately left of liberal as well. For example, other than blacks, no American group votes so lopsidedly for the Democratic Party. And the question is further sharpened given that traditional Jewish values are not leftist. That is why the more religiously involved the Jew, the less likely he is to be on the Left. The old saw, "There are two types of Jews — those who believe Judaism is social justice and those who know Hebrew," contains more than a kernel of truth.
