Crowcombe Heathfield by the preserved West Somerset Railway, the old G.W.R Taunton Minehead line, not too far from the Cider Factory, at Norton Fitzwarren or from Taunton,
But if I were younger it would have to be Plymouth.
I went to London once, Fantastic Trains but the smell, dont london shops sell soap, Smelt like our Pig Sty when the pig ate a dodgy kebab and got the squirts.
Have you considered staying in Italy where your friends are?

Come and live in England the Romanians and the Bulgarians are coming. My towns already half polish. If you arrive and cannot get a job the state will pay you benefits. You,ll get free healthcare why would i wan,t to leave the islands sinking. Actually i might go somewhere warmer whats Italy like this time of year.

I would stay in Norwich, England, but would probably spend a week of every month travelling through countries all over the Earth.

Apart from travelling, I would also expect to have other projects that keep me busy even if I could afford to do nothing.

I would like to live in a variety of places for various lengths of time...I'd like to live in Ireland, Italy, and Israel as well as California, Montana, and Oregon, USA. Family ties keep here in New York but once the kids are grown up, who knows? Although the likelihood of my leaving grandchildren behind is doubtful....I'll just have to settle for extended vacations......

I used to live in the U.K. Three years ago I moved to Spain's Costa Blanca. I love it here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I feel very privileged to live in this wonderful part of the world.
