No one stop us if we want to become a muslim. Afterally it is a quesitn of belief, which may not have any reasoning. However we basically need humane touch to respect whatever faith may be other having.

We have other beliefs. Those who have the same beliefs ARE Muslims.

My guess would be same reason we are not all Christians or Jews or any other religion. In America there is a reason to have freedom of religion. It would be like having only one political party in Government.
