My mom's boyfriend told me the post offices, and banks were closed on 1/2/07 (for mourning of President Harold Ford). I live in NJ, USA if that helps, PLEASE HELP!

Post offices ARE closed. Don't know about banks. Doubtful on schools.

Here in Mississippi, the post offices will be closed but the banks will be opened on 1/2/07.

Bush left in Jan 2009. The rest was Obama's even though the ever so brilliant Think Progress will tell you otherwise. Obama passed the budget for 2009 because Bush wouldn't sign it. It was the Omnibus that has been used in continuing resolutions and added to by approx. 6% each year in the absence of a new budget. You can thank the Democrats for that. They controlled both houses. The $8 billion stimulus was part of that also. Bush had a $4 to $5 billion deficit his last year.

I know the Post Office is closed. I'm sure we will have 24/7 Ford Funeral stuff. He was a creep. He pardoned Nixon so the truth about their lying schemes didn't come out

banks and post offices do not open. they will open back on the 3rd January.
