Your question demonstrates your ignorance of internal conflicts within the Republican party. Perhaps there were some neo-conservatives who blamed Democrats, but most of the old-line conservatives (real conservatives) blamed the neo-cons and the Bush administration for betraying the conservative ideals on which the party has rested since the Reagan era.

The Republican party today, which you on the left may view as one unified group, is, in fact, a coalition of different views. Many of us have been extremely disappointed by the actions of this past administration and fully understand why the party lost the recent elections. We only hope we can regain control of the party from the current administration, who seem focused on spending money and fighting wars, rather than strengthening our own nation.

Nobody likes to "lose," no matter what their political leaning.

The amusing part of the mid-terms was the fact that even "Professor" Rove was la-la-la ing his way into it, thinking they were still going to come out on top.

There was no voter fraud, no magic, no trickery; the Democrats got more votes, plain and simple.

Work with me on this -> anyone with experience in electrical troubleshooting will tell you that one of the steps is simply considering the obvious and most likely cause. Often, that is exactly the answer.

It's no different with the mid-term elections.

There's no "spin" or unique analysis necessary.

The GOP can hypothesize and spin till their dizzy; the result remains the same.
