"life, liberty and the pursuit of happines." Why then aren't monogamous homosexuals allowed to marry, if it is part of their "pursuit of happiness?" This argument was last used in Loving v. Virginia (1967), and it made inter-racial marriage legal. So, it should be only a matter of time before the same scenario will play out for gays, right? And why are people so afraid of gays marrying...how will it hurt YOU personally?

Most middle-higher class republicans don't apretiate the government taking money they earnd to give it to people on welfare that don't have a work ethic to earn it themselves. Thier main point is that if you, and only you, work hard enough you will get what you earn and/or need to get by... but i am among the 0.02% of republicans that are atheist and i wonder:

Why do my god fearing republican friends constintly thank or blame god and/or jesus for doing something for or against them when a second ago they were just preaching to a libral about how our position in life is made by those who work for it, not from handouts?

1950-60's Democratic Party lead by segregationists and racists? or
2000's Democratic Party lead by leftists and gay community?

The old school Democrats:
1. Governor George Wallace (D) of Alabama proclaims "segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever."
2. Current Senator Robert Byrd (D) of W Virginia was first elected to Senate in 1950's as a former member and recruiter/evangelist for the Ku Klux Klan.
3. Democrats from Arkansas defied the desegregation laws of the federal government prompting Pres Eisenhower to send in the 101st Airborne division to Little Rock.
4. Bull Conner (D) turns on fire hoses and unleashes attack dogs on peaceful civil rights marchers in Birmingham.

So, it's close, but I would have to lean toward the 2000's Democratic Party as more full of hate toward their fellow Americans. We look back at the old school Democrats and pity their ignorance. It's only a matter of time when the same can be said for today's Democrats.

were legal immigrants and US citizens. Why did immigration officers arrest them and throw them in jail? Because they looked Hispanic. Supposedly this was an operation to arrest people who stole identities. They arrested 1200 people and only charged about 100 with identity theft crimes. So that means that more than 90% of the people arrested were probably not stealing anyone's identity. Is this effective law enforcement? Anti's, what say you?

Many of the great countries are in reality controlled by Jewish. I don't want to add a lot of details, so if you don't know what I'm really talking about save your time. Thank you. I would also appreciate answers from Jewish people. Note that this is not a racist or hatred question, in fact I love Jews.

Ok here is the deal. I have a garnishment as of current. I received my xmas bonus from work without any of my garnishment taken out. Well now I am being told they are going to take it out of my next paycheck...
Is this legal? The deal behind this that I will not get a paycheck then for the 2 weeks of work. I do realize I need to pay the money however I also can not afford to go without a paycheck.
