NO! For some strange reason, any child born in America, no matter who the parents are, is automatically an American citizen. This is why they are called "anchor babies". The government cannot deport a citizen, and they will not deport the mother of a citizen, and leave the child here alone.

Because of the 14th Amendment, if the grandchild was born here, the grandchild and the parent would be citizens, even though the grandparent was illegal. So they wouldn't be deported.

Nope, if they are born here, they are considered a citizen. I've heard/read about many cases where a kid was born here and the parent(s) were not and for some reason the parent(s) were deported, leaving the kid here in this country alone (without parents). There's been a few instances of this in the last couple of years in my neck of the woods.

A child born here is a citizen. It doesn't matter what the immigration status of the parents is.

the way I understand it, according to the Constitution, a person born in this land is a citizen natually born...the last congress was toying with remaking that passage, but it would have amended the Constitution and required a majority of states to ratify it.

They should all be deported. Why do they want to stay in a place where they are hated? Idiots...
