Which country are you returning to, and do you have a preference? It's hard to answer, but if you're coming back to the UK then I suggest Wychwood "Hobgoblin" or "Goliath" ales. If you're American then find a bar with a micro-brewery, I believe there are a few in the States now. Any decent micro-brewed beer is superior to practically any mass-produced chemical concoction, either here or in the US. Avoid Anheuser-Busch products.

Capistrano Honey Ale.
I don't buy it very often, but it is the smoothest beer, so yum.
