In Different circumstances, any of us could have ended up in such a position.
Idiotic and insensitive question.

It is not the best job in the world but not the worst one.
If you think that prostitutes are bad then what about their clients? Here there is a supply and demand. If there is demand for a prostitution there always going to be a supply. Sadly, some prostitutes did not choose to become a prostitute because they were simply trafficked over from another country and locked away from the public.
But what about those prostitutes who have chosen this way of earning money in order to buy some drugs? Who do we need to blame: their parents, their school or the government? Who else?

of course they are people you stupid dumb person. They are women with drug habits and it is there only way to feed their habits. Do actually think that these girls enjoy the life they are leading. They are in a forever turning death ring that will only end if the right help comes along or some sicko comes along with the same idea as stephen right in ipswich. May i also add that was the dumbest question i ever heard

The media certainly seems to be implying they're some kind of different species. They were referred to as "five women" on BBC News at 10 last night, but otherwise are generally referred to as "five prostitutes".
Their source of income makes them easy targets, that's the main, if not only, thing they have in common.
I think it would credit us all to remember that these are somebody's daughters/partners/sisters etc. A victim of a horrible crime should not be judged as a "proper" victim or "not quite a real victim" on the basis of whether they sell sex for money.

Yes, they are people, and many of them do it to provide for their children, too many do it to support a drug habit, or are forced into it by their pimps, and many are forced into it when they are brough in illegally from other countries under false pretense. And the ones that work in Nevada, do it for the fast and easy cash, and can live life in the fast lane. There are so many reason, good and bad, for doing what they do, but they are still humans, and only they know "why".

If lawyers and politicians are treated as people rather than as pests to be exterminated, prostitutes certainly deserve to be treated at least as well.

Yes they are people,
People I step on,
They are people, buit they chose to work a dirty disease spreading profession, so I give them no respect.
Puffy, they ENCOURAGE sex crimes, when a man has grown accustomed to having whatever king of sex he wants when ever he wants, and all of a sudden a women tells him no, then he rapes her.
Rape isn't about sex, it's about controll, men KNOW they can controll a prostitute, but they, however, cannot controll a respectable women. And the sick ones push for that controll that they have over the prostitutes, for all other women,
Prostitutes aren't dousing the fire, they're feeding the horny flames, untill it consumes all of society
