Before you tell me about how all Radio,TV, satellite transmissions/signals are unwittingly sent (leaked) to space as well, let me clarify my question. ... What I am asking is: Can you "legally" transmit signals to deep space without them being meant to be picked up on Earth by a receiver (i.e. a TV, a radio, a satellite, etc.)? Or is there a law against a one-way transmission to space? ... Also, do you need an FCC license of sorts to transmit signals to deep space? Serious answers only please. In other words, kindly refrain from cute, "ET call home" commentaries :-)

"SEND A LETTER" Day......?
Like Gay Pride Day, or even Rememberence Day, St Davids' Day, St Patricks' Day, St Andrews Day, etc why don't EACH AND EVERYONE of us send a letter to UK PM on a certain day - (beginning of Spring 21st March eg - being Natures way of beginning the natural year..a feeling of optomism everywhere..)?
The letter, showing your support for our Troops, who freely take up Arms in the Defence of our Nation so we can enjoy our freedom and peace, (even though, for the first time, we are actually seeing just how ill-equipped our men and women are in these conflict areas), so they NEED our constructive support - something EVERY PERSON can contribute to.. yes even YOU !
The letter needs to be addresssed to the UK Prime Minister..(and if USA wish to join in feel free - don't care whether letter is addressed to UK PM or US President !) and MUST be posted for a NEXT DAY DELIVERY so EACH letter arrives at EXACTLY the same time....

a squad and a corporal leads a fire team. but in reality a corporal leads a squad the majority of the time and lance corporals lead fire teams in most cases. my question is, what is the responsibilities of a police corporal, a police sargeant? is a police lieutenant considered a "commissioned" officer like in the military? please enlighten me

although he has his conditional green card now for about 1 year, is it possible for him to have his status changed if we don't go through with a divorce and if i don't show up for the meeting that will up lift the condition? I spoke to someone from the mosque and he told me that we have to be married for 3 full years before the condition is removed, can someone tell me what can be done? what if i want the green card revoked what can i do? he says i can do nothing about it.
