I am a soldier in the Army National Guard and I am planning on moving to Fayetteville, AR. Can you tell me if jobs are easier to find then other the other cities in AR? Also, are most people religious in that area? I am religious and I have heard that many people in AR are faithful Christians.

Fayetteville as the surrounding area in Northwest Arkansas is growing steadily. More people seem to be moving in all the time. There are basic jobs associated with Wal Mart, Tyson and Trucking Business. In addition, there are many other opportunities associated with the growth, such as services, construction, etc. You should not have a problem finding a job.
There are plenty of churches around too. Fayetteville may be the most progressive town in the area due to the University and the presence of some hippy-type people and some with alternative life styles. However, there are a lot of religious people as well. People seem to get along fine.
Unfortunately the secret is out about the area. Fayetteville always is ranked high as a good place to live.
Good luck and thanks for your service.

Churches are on every corner in Arkansas. I found that people were a tad bit rude in Fayetteville. Maybe it's because of the college crowd.
