Do people enrolled in the MACP get sent together when one gets a compassionate reassignment? My husband and I are both in the program, and the reason I have to be reassigned is a medical issue w/our unborn baby. We've both turned in separate requests to our commands, but I read in the regulation that MACP spouses are given copassionate consideration? What exactly does that mean?

For anyone in Iraq...what if America took you to America to start a new life? Would you come? Just trying to think of a way to get our troops out of Iraq, but help you too. Just a thought.

I think that even this administration has figured out that Iraq is not a viable democracy, so what would be considered a "win"?

It also states the victim died almost immediately at the scene. The man died in the street with a stranger holding his hand. The person ran a stop sign (don't know the speed), hit a Ford F250 truck which spun around into a caddy where the victim was killed. Had to be high speed to have had such an impact. Agree??? This happened in Florida.

If the U.S is such an advanced, forward thinking, great country, why are three innocent men still in prison and one of them, Damien Echols, is on death row for a crime he did not comit. Why are they being denied access to DNA testing. Surely it's the right of every American citizen to use every means at his countrys disposal to prove his innocence. Innocent until proven guilty??

As an American about to emigrate to the UK, I am slightly disheartened to see all of the immigrant bashing going on--but maybe I'm missing something.

My husband has gotten an excellent job with an electronic's company, and we have spent months waiting for the work permit and immigration visas to allow us to go. We will have every right that a British National has, and every responsibility as well (taxes, etc.). We are moving everything (expectations are to be there for 5+ years), and our three children will of course, be with us (they are all KS1 or 2). Will they face this kind of bashing and discrimination is school? Will we face it in our daily lives? Or, like I said before, am I missing something?
