What would happen? Is there something we could say/do to make them stop?

The last time we tried appeasing a crazy man (Kim Jong ILL) it didn't quite work out.....

Is it in our best intrest to alienate our close ally Israel and appease Iran/Syria? The same Iran whose president is quoted as saying he wants to wipe our close ally Israel off the map?

Do we hug our enemies and say screw our allies now?

OK, I have a good friend who got pulled over after a Christmas party and got a DUI. This is his first offense, and yes,he knows he did something wrong and feels more terrible than any of you could make him feel. So now he is facing being without his license for 6 months...He drives a long way to work and has children as well.

Has anyone been in this situation before that can give good advice about how to proceed? No stupid answers please-I will only ignore them.

We are the world's only super power and yet we put these little middle eastern countries on a pedistool like they are some hot shot powers themselves, why do we do this? Do we really need to talk to these backwards nations?

loud illegal alien music, the problem is that we have a Nazi Skinhead teenager neighboor who has been harrasing them, yelling racial profanities at them from afar, I talk to him and told him to stop, he also knows the date when they will be finishing the job, and he promises to call the INS, I cant say for certain that they are illegals but all indications tell me they are. What should I do, should I report a hate crime so that my neighboor gets reprimanded before he creates a scene at our house if he does call the INS

The "War on Drugs" is obviously a losing battle. Like it or not, illegal drugs are out there. Because of the fact that they are illegal, there are people illegally selling them. If there was no need to buy and sell these drugs illegally, perhaps there would be no need for much of the violence and the crowded prisons. Plus, government regulated drugs (like marijuana) could generate literally billions in tax revenue. This money could be spend on real problems like the healthcare crisis that we are facing here in this country. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

We have a different educational system and legal system. Sure we now have our own 'parliment' but we still answer to England and to Tony Blair. Plus it always annoys me to think that we would have a Liberal Democrat Goverment if we weren't tied to England.

Our health is suffering for it, as money that should be coming into our NHS is being spent in England. I know alot of the people on this site aren't British...But I would appreciate anyone's opinion on this.

Why do so many believe that if you are against the war, you're against the troops? I support the troops, but I believe that they have no business in Iraq; not saying pull them out immediately, but that's a different story. My question is, why is it not thought possible to be against the war and for the troops? And another thing, why the animosity? A few of the soldiers have done things that were callous, but they don't represent the most of them out there. The fact that they're figthing is brave, quite brave. Comments?

Is it me or is Harper just as stupid as Bush. Everything the USA does Harper follows. Everytime I hear about articles with Bush and Harper I think about a cartoon with Bush standing there with a dog leash around Harper neck and pulling him. He needs to think for himself don't you think

I want to write to UK soldiers, over in the middle east. (similar routine-write to those who don't receive any letters). Whilst researching this on the Internet, I could only find websites for USA soldiers, or sending a letter from the USA. Does anyone know a suitable website or adress that can help me show my support for soldiers in the middle East, this Christmas?

Why didn't we go to Japan after they attacked us and ask them, "What can we do/say to make you not hate us so much?"

That way we could of avoided war.

My favorite "recomendation" of the Iraq Surrender Group, #19, "The President and the leaders of his national security team should reamin in close and frequent contact with the Iraqi leadership"

Thank goodness for a genuis recomendation like that
