I called Child Protective Services on my friend the other day because she was being accused and present during a time when my neighbor attempted to kill his mother. While I told CPS that the child was not present and that from what I was told the mother was accused of having the gun in her possession, my concern was that if the above were true what was going to happen to the child. The mother already had an open report about her and she is an extreme alcoholic and goes from house to house with the child. She has even been in my home and i had to tell her to not come around anymore because of her drinking and horrible behavior and I have three children. She some how knows I called and has threatened to bring me and my kids down with her. Is this legal and can I be suede for acting in good faith? I never said she had the gun only that it was a claim against her and that was found to be true so CPS picked the child up.

This is just a puzzle and a mystery. I guess the G.O.P. -- which exists to service big business, even as big business outsources away quality American jobs, thus destroying the American Dream singlehandedly -- just likes the almighty dollar more than they like the people of America.

I just can't get over the fact that she's going to be Speaker of the House.
Is there ANYTHING good about this woman? Or is the fact that she's a Democrat enough for some people?
I really am looking for actual answers. IS there anything good about her? Does she have any outstanding qualities? Does she stand for ANYTHING that's good and moral?
Furthermore, isn't choosing her, amongst ALL the good Democrats that are out there, like choosing (Warren) Harding over (Abraham) Lincoln?

I heared the portueguse and the Europeans took ship loads ot africans to the middle of the ocean chained in a link and drop the first one off then sat down lit a cigar and waited for the next one to be pulled under and then the next one and the next one and the next one and the next one and the next one ..... ACTIONS LIKE THESE ARE WHY THE RICH COUNTRIES STILL LIVE IN LUXURY...Mistakes are still being made and they dont even care less... invading other countries...destabilising competetion... ALL THE WHILE KEEPING THE LOCAL POPULACE STUPID AND UNAWARE OF THEIR ( THE ELECTED POLITICANS) ACTIONS AND FOREIGN POLICIES... Good Balance of Power!!!

There mother and father lost temporary custody because the Mom has drug/alcolho problems, that they are trying to help with, and the father is unable due to immaturity. The grandmother had to move to a two bedroom apt by law while having this temp custody. What type of compensation should she receive, and if none, why not after having to move and set up somewhere else, pays for day care, etc? Someone with Canadian, specifically, Ontario knowledge on this, would be wonderful to hear from.

too many families have been broken up and irreparable damages done to all family members by the mondale act that not only contradicts a basic tenant and founding principle of american law: that a defendant is considered innocent of the alleged charges until proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt , by a jury of his peers. the execution of policies under the mondale act totally reverses our law ,:presuming the defendant guilty until proven innocent. this is not only inequitable, it's unconstitutional. we can thank the last democrat controlled congress and former president carter for his signing this bill and enacting it into law in the '70s

A major reason why the League of Nations failed to prevent World War II is that it didn't have an army; neither does the UN, so why/how will the UN succeed where the League of Nations didn't?

The UN forbade the invasion of Iraq to overthrow Saddam Hussein, but it was ignored, so what difference does it make?
