Like barrister and morwood said it depends on what country you are in/from when you apply for the visa. My mother-in-law was able to get a tourist visa in one month. I would suggest that you contact your local U.S. embassy or consulate for further information. Here are some web sites that might be useful to you

That's a very vague question.. it depends upon which embassy or High Commission you need to go to to get your Visa. If you are British you do not need a torusit visa to go to the US. i suggest that your telephone your Embassy/HC to find out on Monday. I can't tell you which one that is as I do not know which country you are from???

barrister_girl is partly right in that UK and other EU and EEA citizens do not usually need a visa if they have a machine readable passport with biometric info plus a return ticket and they have never been arrested or detained even without charge.
Look up the US Consular web page for your own country for all the rules and procedures - they do vary as does the waiting time.

most of the time it depends what , or where are you coming from. sometimes it takes a little than a day or sometimes weeks, mos, even a year.
