hi, i am in high school and im trying write a letter to our congressman that i want to work with him or as asstants ot anything at possible cuz i need to get a nomination but i just wanna know him as personal so there would be ( im not saying it would be easy) higher chances that i might get nominated and also i wanna a be a polition andi wanna get some ides. and how do i wrte to congressman plz help me

First be very clear why you want to have this internship - wanting to be a politician yourself is sound - do you support the congressman's party though?
Look up his particulars on the web, find out what special causes he supports and how he votes on issues then match this profile to your own life. If you can find a couple of matching topics that you can agree with him on, make these part of your letter. If you can't then you should consider asking the opposition candidate for an internship with them!

All Congressmen maintain an office somewhere in your state, county, call the office and make an appointment talk to the secretary about why you want to make the appointment. She can tell you the procedures on getting the job.

Go to your congressman's local office (you can find the address on the us house of representatives web site) and volunteer to help out.
