This is just a puzzle and a mystery. I guess the G.O.P. -- which exists to service big business, even as big business outsources away quality American jobs, thus destroying the American Dream singlehandedly -- just likes the almighty dollar more than they like the people of America.

not exactly a question so much as an opinion - but so are so many "questions" here - still i want to respond to your emphasis on FEEL - what makes you think they dont feel patriotism ? and by the way i am no conservative - that seems to be exactly the problem - they do feel it - and they believe it just as strongly as libs believe what they do - the two sides simply DISAGREE

There is more then one side to everything. Just because some is looking at a picture one way doesn't mean they are unpatriotic. They feel the same about the liberals be unpatriotic. Most of everything is divided by believe sytems. It doesn't make them wrong or right it just makes them American just like being a liberal makes you American.
Both side have positive and negatives.
As for big business they don't get the tax breaks the small business do when it comes to the republicans. Liberals just want to tax all business period.
This leaves big business wanting breaks so they outsource. Like I said pros and cons you just have to need to decide what's the worse of two evils.

You are living in the world of Liberal propaganda. American jobs are going off shore because the American people don't want to over-pay for American produced products (ie, the system can no longer over-pay union wages). By out sourcing certain jobs, American companies are able to survice and still preserve some American jobs. At the same time, American companies have been very cleaver at making American jobs highly productive in order to compete with world labor. This has required automation. It's only conservatives in the GOP that see the need to help level the playing ground by reducing taxes. Do you realize the advantage of the Fair Tax plan? Liberals oppose this, but one advantage this would give is that because it eliminates income taxes, corporations no longer would have to include this cost in the price of products. (It is estimated to be about 25%). This would have tremendous impact on making American jobs more competitive. But as I say, Liberals oppose making America competitive. They want to "enslave" everyone so that they are dependent upon the government.

You're misguided, how can a Liberal be a patriot when they all hate the military? The Republican Party does not "exist to serve big business" any more than the Democrat Party exists to serve minorities. It's the liberals that are behind the decline of values in America, not Conservatives.

You have it just the opposite of the truth. The loopy liberals want us to bring our country down to the level of the debouched europeans rather than insist that they rise up to our level. they act as if we have to apologise because we created a society that's unique on this planet. The GOP doesn't exist to service big business. that idea is just stupid. The GOP believes in smaller government and less govenrment intrusion in our lives where the loopy liberals only care about redistribution of weath. They want to take money away from working families and give it to those who refuse to lift a finger for themselves and would rather live off the public dole. Being that unemployment is at an alltime low, your statement about outsourcing is ludacris and unfounded. You haven't gotten a single point right, which makes you the perfect liberal.

Are you being a bit blinkered and partisan here? Guiliani seems to me to have shown considerable passion about being American at the time of 9/11 and Schwarzenegger is often quoted as another man passionate about his assumed nationality.

I don't recall Clinton and Gore being passionately patriotic but rather showed themselves to be cynical manipulators of the party and state apparatus.

As to big business i suspect that both parties service that!

What would a liberal know of Patriotism? The refusal to protect the country and the attempts to claim ownership of the people is anything but the American dream.

Yeah-who thinks people should earn their money? No way-that is a free economy! Who feels that we should burn the American flag because we dont like Bush-wait-that is some of the Dem people. Who wants to fight terrorism? No way-it might take some time and we like our wars as short as a Happy Meal order. Who wants to gave tax cuts back to the people so it would encourage them to but somehting they want and then in return help the economy? No way-lets raise taxes and redistribute the workers' money to the nonworkers.

Ask stupid questions-get stupid answers.

Liberals are not true Americans. If anything they are destroying this country. If you don't believe me look up something called the presidenty of F.D.R (Franklin Deleno Rosevelt). He made it so that our money is no longer based on Gold. And another Liberal took the Silver out of our coins on the the 1960s. I can't remember his name. And because of them we are now paying a tax called Inflation. They imposed it on us.

So I don't see how they are helping America.

Hope this helps.

I don't need to. I just read the Declaration of Independence and it convinces me I could never be a Democrat.
