I am by inclination & background more of a whig than a tory (we don't hear 'h' word whig very much) and dislike the authoritarian conduct of every other conservative. Change my mind. Or don't, are they pathetic racists as I sometimes estimate them as.

I think the reason of war in Iraq was Oil Oil Oil and of course ARMS.
First completely distroy the country, change the government, then sell arms to the new elected government because they will need them. Armes cost a lot of money. The new government has no money at all and of course they will have to pay with OIL OIl OIL. Thus Iraq is becoming a long term debtor of the USA. It is that simple ladies and gentlemen

Both parties are very guilty of it! Look at the Kennedys, Look at Dick Cheney, his oldest daughter is under secretary of state! It goes beyond party lines, the spoils system was originally institued by Andrew Jackson. It has led to payroll padding by officials and a huge waste of our hard earned tax dollars.
