My brother-in-law has just been booted out of the house by his live-in girlfriend of 3 years. They have a 2 year old daughter together and she has a 6 year old from a previous boyfriend. A year ago my brother-in-law received a $40,000 settlement from being fired from a job. He is disabled (leg cut off below knee) and the company he was working for fired him after he was unable to fully perform his duties after another surgery. Anyway, he was awarded the money and he paid off his 2005 Ford Expedition, bought the girls a $700 swingset, spent $3,000 having his girlfriend's teeth fixed and bought them a $2,000 queen size bed and mattress to sleep on. All he wants from all of this is the mattress! He left her the vehicle, swingset, and everything else they had acquired in their 3 years together. Does he have any rights to the bed? She did not work in the 3 years they were together and she is saying that it was all a gift! We are in Arkansas - does anyone know his rights? Thanks!!!

I believe Iraq has the freedom to choose its own destiny.

I believe the Iraqis, as a people, have this freedom whether or not it is designated to them by a foreign power.

I believe that Iraq has the freedom to resist its enemies, in whichsoever shape or form they may display themselves.

I believe Iraq has the freedom to raise it's hand against all which it considers false.

I believe Iraq has the freedom to relish in the demise of an enemy, just as their enemies savour their defeats.

I believe Iraq has the freedom to pursue the word of God and intergrate it as part of their national and personal duty.

I believe Iraqis have the freedom to respond to taunts and belittlement.

1) Start carpet bombing Sunni insurgent strongholds & let the Iraqi national army (w/o US ground troops) clean up the mess and take over the former "Sunni triangle" and western Iraq? War would be over in 3 months.

2) US invades Syria & Iran causing a larger more conventional Mideast war where the US military can use it's FULL force w/o having to worry so much about collateral damage, take out Iran's nuclear program and win the war in Iraq?

3)Redeploy all US forces into Kuwait & Afganhistan where they can hopefully contain the Iraq civil war to just Iraq & not a wider Middle East regional war & build permenant military bases in Kuwait/Afganhistan so that the US military will be able to destroy any new terrorists training grounds?

Bush was advised by several Generals that we needed more troops initially-we should not disband the Iraqi army-we should worry about the conventional arsenals all over Iraq-we should worry about not things going over the border of Iraq upon invasion-but those people and weapons which may come in...it seems so many keys points were ignored...conventional wisdom indicates the basic approach to this war was developed by Bush-Rumsfeld and Cheney-how could these individuals have bungled things so badly??????

No one is showing the average american the data that shows just how much food and service prices will rise as a result of exporting all Mexican workers. Data is showing congress that people in large cities will go into civil war because of shortages of food. Many of the extremely wealthy people in this country have been informed to buy land in extreme Southern United States where they will be able to grow their own food and secure older southern workers who have experience in producing food to survive. This confidential document shows that the United States if deporting workers that we would be dependent on foreign countries for food just as we are for oil. The populations that will be affected the most are the urban areas and poor and minorites. This is the reason that many of the most powerful people in american are buying rural farms very quitely in the Southeast United States. Within 5 years major food shortages will exist in meat and vegetables.

These sanctions were not against Fidel but against ordinary people of Cuba. Then why did they do that to Cuban people? To defend the human rights of cuban people? Who was that "judge" who did that? Who will bring back the people lives that have been lost in poverty and sufferings due to these sanctions in Cuba ? What was the goal of these sanctions?

Seriously. There are some intelligent liberals on here, but the rest repeat the same things over and over:
Bush is racist.
Bush is a dictator.
Bush planned 9/11.
War for oil
Bush is the antichrist.
Bush stole the election.

Is there some "liberals" website that all of the lemmings get their info from?
Did I miss any of the talking points?

i have mentioned these kinds of incidents on here for ages.it's a cowrdly act commited by u.s troops, when they come under fire whether in afghanistan or iraq, instead of going after the assialants on foot they call in air strikes and drop 2000 pound bombs in civillian areas killing so many civillians, ten of thousands of civillians have been killied this way. there are hundreds of sites with videos where an air strike drops bombs and demolish whole buildings and you can hear the cowradly u.s troops cheering when they know the strike has killed civillians, all this is just going to enrage the population and recruit more ppl in the struggle to fight the nazi u.s invaders, even in 20 years time the relatives of those killed in airstrikes will come and seek revenge on the u.s whether it's military or civillian targets, violance breeds violence. so many people have just been saying what i just said. i am currently working for amnesty international.
