He did what he said he'd do. Remember that brief moment of mass hysteria after 9-11 where we huddled behind our leader? We accepted him, we voted him in not once but twice.
We owe the world an apology and should get off this "scapegoating the president" fad. It's gotten to te point where we can't muster up national solidarity because we're all busy blaming each other for everything that goes wrong. Nothing's going to change when Bush leaves, America will still be hated. Only thing that will change are the names and faces.

Did you read the findings from the Iraq study group? One of the primary concerns in their report was about the OIL. The panel of 'experts' on this group lead by Jim Baker were all oil men. There were no Iraqi experts. There wasn't even anyone in this group that could distinguish between Shiite and Sunni Muslims!
The reports from the Iraq study group basically went there, trying to figure out how to privatize all of the oil pumping in Iraq.
Then on top of that, they (the study group) calls for troop withdrawal during the first quarter of 2008! Which, coincidently is the first quarter of the presidential primary. Basically, Bush is planning to string this mess along for as long as he can which is up until the end of his presidential term.

The Iraqi people were all partying in the street when American when in or did you not see that in the news?
The CIA did tell Bush that Iraq had weapons of Mass destruction. So tell me what does he need to apologize for because the iraqi people want each sect of their own religious sect to take over?
No you should be the one apologizing for asking this insane question.

I can't say I like Bush, but I don't see any reason for him to apologize. He acted according to his principles, and the American public backed him at the time at record-setting levels. You can't blame a politician for being a politician.
Certainly the war in Iraq has become a real fiasco - but I don't believe that's due to the President. He had good intentions and bad advice.

No he should not. The Iraq Study Group is in no way unbiased or impartial. They are out to make the President look bad, and you have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

And now is good time for us, french people, to say : WE TOLD YOU SO!
Yes, Bush should certainly apologize to the americans. He should crawl at their feet imploring their forgiveness.
It was quite obvious since the beginning that this war was gonna be just like vietnam... pffff

Humility in leadership.. Yes, they should apologize.. But sincerely, not mixed with political posturing and bending to popular sentiments.. Wrong but strong is better than right but weak is, well.. .. ..
They may deny the fact, but all people know, they are still just people who make blunders.. But if they do deny, they don't fool the people, they make only a fool of themselves..

No, they should not apologize!!!!
What their apology will do to Iraqi people who were tortured in Abu Ghraib???
It will be so humiliating if they just said : "Sorry". Will the word "sorry" bring the dead people back to life??????
