Mccain is a decent human being. he goes a little too far with some of the things he demands, but not totally without reason, like many right-wingers.
Personally, i think he is pushed around by Bush like many republicans have been the past 6 years. If he even campaigns on Bush's legacy, even mentions Bush, I'd vote a straight dem ticket!

the only thing other than the democrats popping up an exceptional canidate, that would prevent me from voting for him, is if he chose someone like Guliani or Jeb to be his VP! I wouldn't care if it was the democrat canidate, if the person chose either one of those as a VP, they wouldn't get my vote.

What makes you think he will get elected in the first place? especially if he plans on continuing the Bush legacy. If he were continue what Bush is doing the chances of him being elected are about as good as the Chance of finding a snowball in hell
