Can we forget she exists for more than a moment? ;-) Just kidding! Well, look at Mark Foley whose career is over. But then, look at Ted Kennedy who can even commit manslaughter but nothing sticks to him.
I really think it depends how the media handles the scandal. They can ignore it, let it go, or beat it into the ground. Where the media goes, the public will follow, unfortunately.
Just my opinion.

Hillary. Why forget about Whitewater and poor Vince Foster, and Rudy for divorcing his wife, hmm just doesn't sting like stealing and killing.
