I took the following clip out of a BBC News report. How would you describe russia's involvement in Chechnya? Like Iraq, Vietnam Afghanistan or all of them rolled into one? Or Worse?

Chechnya bloodbath:
Yet the blunders of the Russian military extend much further, and encompass not only the response to terrorist attacks, but also the strategy of preventing these attacks from taking place. During the last 10 years of a vicious war in Chechnya, thousands of young, inexperienced Russian soldiers were sent into unfamiliar territory where they were instantly slaughtered.
Moscow, in turn, responded by carpet-bombing complete villages and cities. With each day that passed, the opportunity to for a peaceful settlement faded even further into the distance.
In Chechnya, towns destroyed by Russian artillery and aerial carpet bombing are now inhabited almost exclusively by old people, abandoned by younger men who escaped to the mountains to continue fighting.
A great deal of the suicide bombers and terrorists now are women - the so-called "Black Widows" - sisters of dead Chechen fighters, sworn to avenge their own families, even at the cost of their own lives.
If there was ever a surer way of encouraging further terrorism, the Russian military has invented it.
Widespread corruption and demoralization among the Russian troops complete this sad picture. In quite a few documented cases, Russian conscripts sold their equipment to intermediaries who then passed it to Chechen separatists. And checkpoints, set up throughout the turbulent southern Caucasus region in order to hamper the movement of terrorists, are easily circumvented with a small bribe.

If you ask the russian and russian supporters in the room they claim they are the best in the world. What would you say after reading about one of there latest hostage "rescue" attempts.

Ultimately, the Russian Spetsnaz did what they know best: shoot in all directions with massive firepower, rather than execute the surgical strike required in such circumstances.

The result was that 40% of all the hostages were killed, and another 40% were injured, a staggering tally which is much worse than in any other mass hostage crisis in living memory. Many of the hostages were hit from three different directions. Ballistics prove that 98% of the deaths and injuries were caused by Spetsnaz weapons.

Now who would you want rescuing you. UK SAS, US Delta, Israeli SF or russian Spetsnaz?

The American govertnment think that their country is always being targetted by terrorist. Can't the US Government understand and see that the very reason they were attacked is because they always meddle in the affairs of other countries? Why can't they mind their own business and respect the sovereign rights of other countries?

I'm asking this for my mother. She is in a rather tight spot right now and she has been late on rent the past few months. She has always paid even if it was late and all her late fees. She just finished paying her late fees for this month but then she was searching on the internet to find a cheaper place to live. While she was doing this she came across an ad for her townhouse! She has not been served eviction papers but they are already trying to find new tennants for her home. Is this legal? Don't they have to tell her to get out first? Any advice for me to give my mom would be much appreciated.

This question is for the middle income and poor Republicans in the US . Rich ones need not answer please as I already know your reasons. Now the question:
Besides sending your sons, daughters, brothers & sisters to be killed or maimed in a war we can't possibly win, what has Bush done for you? Why do you think he deserves your loyalty & support?
I'm not Bush-bashing, I'm just trying to understand your way of thinking, so please explain.

Basicly after the Iraq war, Democrats were labels as "Liberals." Is this because of Bush's speech, "If you are not with us, you are against us." When speaking in a news conference. I think I leave more towards Democrat, but I am not liberal at all. I am a Iraq veteran and have served 2 combat tours as a US ARMY INFANTRYMAN. I would say I am definitely a moderate...... I do not agree with the Iraq war. It hasn't solved anything. I believe in Pro-Choice and against the Death Penalty. I am all about making health coverage in the states cheaper. I am all about Capitalism. I think that if JOE Shmoe works his *** off, he is definitely entitled to making as much money as he wants. Also, the Republican party has way to many Christian Evangelicals. I am a firm believer in the seperation between church and state and I think some people cannot grasp that on the Republican side.

B. Go talk to Rosie about it.
C. Write a song about it, blaming Bush for being a racist (he doesn't like coffee because it's black), and send it to Kanye West.
