For North Wales and Ynys Mon - NO! I don't know anyone who is impressed by the cuts in financial support from the Welsh Assembly Government or the lack of enthusiasm to direct funding towards the North of Wales.

Even the schools are getting reduced money on Ynys Mon and the parents have been asked to express their concern to Anglesey County Council - who I am told underspend every year and get their income reduced the following year as a result. So why does the Council Tax keep being increased even with the re-banding of our properties?

If Wales wants to keep its younger generation in Wales to study and to work and speak Welsh, they had better start looking after their education!

Are these cuts the underlying reason for getting children to learn through play, rather than the way we were all taught in the 1940s/50s and early 60s? It was good enough then to produce good standards for all - so why does the Welsh Assembly think Welsh children deserve less than Scottish, English or Northern Irish children?

People in Wales have a National Assembly which is very people-minded. Everybody gets prescription items for about £3 each and it will soon be absolutely free. Over-60's - male and female - travel anywhere on the bus for nothing. Money is being spent on all sorts of things which benefit everyone, not just the unemployed.
