it looks like no one bothered to read the question again Yes i think the immigration policy is confused .Governments talk about helping poor countries and at the same time take the workers that the poor country has invested their money into training .And in the mean time it leads to a shortage of decent well paid jobs for the population in the country where they go, It would make more sense for governments to allow people on work permits in to do the low paid jobs that we don`t want .but then nothing they do makes a lot of sense .

Im assuming you are foreign as your english is very poor. The issue with immigration must be limited to the extent where the government should not be concerned who they are offending. This idea that everyone can live together is a very nice one, but its somewhat unrealistic. Diveristy is what i love about the world. But why is it people want this diveristy within every nation. Wont that eventually makes us all the same?

There should be immigration but very limited. Not 600,000 poles in two years (the government said 12,000 a year). People work and live in the same place and eventually ghettos are formed. e.g Most towns in the north of england. If i want to experience indian culture why go to india. Leciester is only an hour from london.

I see nothing wrong with letting skilled workers immigrate to the US legally. But not at the expense of Americas skilled labor such as some very large US based company's are doing.
Unskilled ,under educated, poor people become a drain on the economy .When they immigrate here legally they also are allowed to bring in family members that may also be unskilled poor people.A nation can only support so many poor people before they become the standard of that nation..They cause lower wages, lowered standard of living and can become a burden because of getting public assistance.Illegal aliens should not be allowed in this nation ,the borders must be secured then the systematic deportation of all illegals must begin.

I don't know where you live that all Americans are lazy? Where I live in Arizona I see countless hard working family loving Americans doing their jobs with a smile.
We have great family values and close knit family's.
We are everyday Americans doing what we have always done.Working hard, worshiping the God of our choice, loving our family's and our country.Americans aren't lazy ,that's a fallacy push by people that are anti American and pro illegal Alien or people that just believe what the media spoon feeds them.

Well, there's no confusion about stopping ILLEGAL immigration, is there? LOL
Also, should countries really be in the business of basically selling citizenship to the highest bidder, etc?
I think if businesses fail to abide by existing laws on immigration rules, then they should be fined. Heavily. The law's the law, it was written FOR a reason, now the question is whether or not our representatives et. al. are a) smart enough, b)honest enough, and c)sufficiently motivated to see to it that they're followed. Failing that, there's always the famous foot-to-*** at election time...

Letting in unskilled immigrants keeps wages down, this is what all goverments want because they are ruled by the CBI and the EU. Now Romania and Bulgaria are in Europe we will get hundreds of thausands more. We should get out of the EU now. I vote UKIP because they are against the EU and against mass immigration. Immigration is taking a big toll on the NHS. and is costing the country billions of pounds.

Perhaps we should all be grateful that skilled people like JP are willing to leave their own countries to help other countries like the US out of the goodness of their hearts. There was me thinking it was all about making money!

I answered a question about immigration a while back- I feel I covered all contingencies- children who didn't really have a say in their situation, amnesty-seekers, etc.

I have nothing wrong with letting unskilled laborers in... I myself qualify as "unskilled"... (although I was born here, and my parents' families have been in the US since before 1850...)

In the meantime, I do have a problem with illegally entering this country. There ARE legal ways to emigrate to the US. Feel free to read my answer...

I think it is a bit too late now to start arguing about illegal immigration of the UK. It has gone past that stage where we cannot get them removed. This country has been invaded by immigration.

No, I am not confused. I think that no illegal immigrant should be allowed to remain this country.
And who says that we are obligated to allow in anyone to help "poor countries?" We are not obligated to allow ANYONE into the US, and we help poor countries more than we should, in my opinion.
As for who is cleaning your office, that is a rather racist inference, and doesn't deserve a response. I really don't believe that you have an office, anyway.

Your writing skills are sub par, many immigrants can write better than you... be glad that immigrants like myself are willing to leave their own countries (to the detriment of their homelands - the "brain drain") and advancing their adopted country's sciences, medicine and technology.
