Airfare roundtrip ticket cost is seasonal, Christmas season is definitely expensive (that is from late November through late January), tickets cost from $1300 to $1700 for coach/economy class. While regular roundtrip airfare nonseasonal cost half, from $700 through $900. The airfare also depends on the airline company, route, and stopovers. Several Asian airlines offer reasonable prices while flag carrier Philippines Airlines (which is a direct flight nonstop) cost a bit more.
If you are staying in Manila, there are several options you can make, you can either stay at a five-star international-brand hotels ranging from $150 and up a day or in humble pension houses around the area which cost less than $50 a day. There is one pension house where I always stay when I'm in Manila, safe, affordable, and clean - the best room costs around $40 a day (called Shalom Center - a Christian hostel, everyone is welcome here). You can surf their site at www.uccpshalomcenter.com for more info, I highly recommend this place.
When roaming around the city, it's convenient to go by the taxi than riding on local transportation. $5 to $10 taxi fare will get you to the farthest place in the city. There are car for hire (with driver) which the hotel can provide you better information.
Airfares within the country, if you are planning to hop around the islands costs from $40 to $100 one way. You can go by the bus but this will eat out your time, travel by bus end to end will take 3 days but will cost you half the price.
Food prices are reasonably affordable, restaurants like TGIF or Chilis have the same price as U.S., there are other local excellent restaurant you can try at lesser the price. Fastfood is everywhere, from McDonald's to Wendys'. 3-meals a day will probably cost you $30 to $50.
You might want to consider other expenses like going to bar or night clubbing, other establishments require a cover charge which may cost around $5 to $20 (some bars give you a free beer or drink with the cover charge) Beer and other mixed drinks will range from $5.
I hope that pretty much give you a general idea of how much you will need to spend going to the Philippines.
It is always a pleasure welcoming tourists, foreigners or balikbayan to our country. I hope you'll pursue your vacation and I am sure you will enjoy it.
I hope that helps and if you need more info, just give me a holla.
Have fun and good luck.

Varies plenty. some will charge conventional day's fee for labour 500-seven-hundred pesos. This one I merely have been given had to charge me a million,5k. He merely replaced a million convenience outlet and adjusted a circuit breaker (even with the undeniable fact that it somewhat wasn't mandatory reason we the two observed that it did no longer something to clean up a situation i mandatory fixed) and he replaced 3 bulbs.
