I am set to leave for Philippines last week of December but will come back to the US on Jan 20th before my Jan 23rd hearing. It's my first DWI offense and it wasnt anything major, the policer charged me as going through a red light and I did submit myself to a breath test. I need to fly to Manila...will I get arrested in the airport or something?

The airport does not arrest anyone for DWI. As it's said everyone is innocent until they have their day in court. How can you be arrested when you will arrive back in time to attend court. DWI is not a priority for the airports. They mainly use their data bases to look for terrorists.

Why don't you call the courthouse and find out if you can go there or not? Yahoo! Answers is a great place to exchange views etc., but for that kind of stuff, you should call City Hall etc...

Unless you have already had some type of hearing where they told you not to leave your state, check all your paperwork and make sure it doenst say not to leave the state.

No......you are permitted to travel freely unless you've already been to court and have been ordered not to leave the state.

Enjoy your vacation!
