I know that some feel that we didn't go to war in Iraq for the reasons that the President said, but are we avoiding war with North Korea for an unlegitliment reason or is not going to war a better idea?

How about tons of tax dollars?
Your thoughts?
Also- Does John McCain have a solution? IF so I'd love to hear it. If not, perhaps he shouldn't feel the need to chime in about it.

Johns Hopkins University is about to release a study suggesting that between 600,000 – 700,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the US invasion of Iraq. That is about 500 people/day and represents 2% of the total population.

Having worked for several councils as a sub-contractor, I've come to the conclusion that most of the people employed there would not be able to hold down a job out in the 'real world'! Get someone to make a decision on their own, no chance, a committed of people have to have a meeting to decide whether to give the go ahead or not. As someone if they prefer red or blue.... same scenario.

If these people are so good at their jobs, why are they working for the public sector in the first place... because its an easy number, just walk around the office carrying papers looking busy, turn up to a few meetings to show your face...sorted, nice pension or nice redundancy package. Work for the council, you're sorted for life!

Nike shoes cost 100.00 and are made in China, CEO and Shareholders are making record incomes. Congress has giving themselves raises. McDonalds, Wal-mart, and many other Companies have enjoyed paying no benefits and minimum wages for years but inflation happens. I find it hard to believe raising the minimum wage for a small percentage of Americans will send Inflation out of control

Things are over packaged. We could use reusabe bags? so we should start reducing packaging of items and start using recyclable canvas bags. Do yahoo users agree. (refuse plastic, no thanks I do not need the waster of your bag?) I hate seeing them on the side of the road and in alley ways. We could always go a step futher, the technology for electric cars is out, A company named ZAP sells anice economical XEBRA and other cars. Why do we keep doing this to our planet, our beloved country. Why the states continue making stupid regulations, they need to regulate plastic bags and regulate the use of gas powered vehicles.

You hear all the time about how this person or that person used a loop whole to get out of paying taxes. My question is, if you found a way to do that, wouldn't you. I think everyone would try to get out of paying taxes or at least pay less if they could find a way.

I'm 99.9% certain that the number of people kill each year by the use of guns CAN BE AVOIDED. So why can't congress abolish all guns to the general public? Don't give me the 2nd admentment crap either...freedom to bare arms (you still have your knives and baseball bat). Also for you hunters out there, you can establish a "rental" system at desinated hunting grounds. "its not the gun that kills people, its the person"....some say. I say BS!

That is one of the weakest of weak arguments liberal make. I don't assume all democrats are former Rep. Mel Reynolds, D-IL, or Rep. Barney Frank, D-MA, .

Get a life and find a new argument.

Housed at 7 World Trade Center were the United States Secret Service, the Department of Defense, the (SEC), the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management, and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

WTC 7 was not hit by a plane. No steel skyscraper, until this day, has ever collapsed from a fire. Ever!

I live in a rented apt. On Monday, the dishwasher malfunctioned and flooded my kitchen which is carpeted (don't ask why). They cleaned the carpet with a professional machine but I don't think it was enough because last night it was still wet and it still smells. Can I get them to replace the kitchen carpet at their cost? I am afraid mold will develop and my baby who is crawling, will get sick.
