This is hardly a presidential issue, after all. It is a local one, and the local animal protection authorities. They are supposed to inspect all such places regularly and make sure the animals are being treated humanely. That they apparently do not do a very good job of this is not Bush's fault. I can blame the jerk for a lot of things, but not this.

Puppymills are a deplorable issue, but not a Federal matter. They are a state and local issue.

Probably because he has much bigger things to take care of!!! I am sure that is a problem your local humane society or local police will look into if you call them.

Think globally, act locally. Stop expecting the feds to nanny you, call your local officials and get a group formed.

GEORGE BUSH!!! PUPPY MILLS!!! I would be pissed if he was spending his time on that stuff. Take it local law enforcement and government. Let the President deal with bombers, war, etc, etc.

It is not a "big" problem for him. He could do something. But it is not a big enough problem for the federal level.
