Here are a few questions that I have always wondered about cops...

-How do cops know where to go when they are called to...let's say a residence? I guess some cops are very familiar with the areas they work in, but i have lived in the same city for 22 years and couldn't tell you every street. Maybe navigation systems? If so do they put the coordinates of the residence in or is it uploaded into their computer system by satelite?

-Do cops get to keep the standard beretta they are issued or do they turn them in at the end of their shifts?

-Do cops always use the same police cars or do they rotate them with other officers? (I know in some smaller cities they get to take them home, but havn't seen that in too many places.)

Why is it that there are people who are against requiring a form of identification when voting? We need identification to do the following:

Drive
Drink
Buy Cigarettes
Buy violent movies/games (in some stores)

And many other things. Yet when it comes to voting, we're somehow limiting the number of people who can vote? Give me a break. The same people who are screaming "stolen election!" are also against requiring a form of ID to vote. Every election, I hear reports about dead people voting, yet the same people are against this don't want to require IDs. And don't give me the "the poor people can't get an ID" or crap like that because the government could issue them. So why are people against it if it will cut down on voter fraud?

If we were a Muslim planet we would be doomed absolutely but if we were say the untied planet of Earth, maybee we could avoid the inevitable destruction of our species by not having ALL of us on the planet when it is destroyed evantually by some common cosmic event.

Democrats promised they'd win in 2004, 2002 and 2000...and lost....what makes 2006 any different? It seems to me that Democrats are the same old leftwing extremists they've always been, they have given voters no new reason to vote for them. Until that changes, they should be prepared to lose every time.

Republicans complain a lot about Clinton... but how long does it take to fix the screw ups... and what have they done to fix them?

They have a majority and they have pushed through legislation before that was unpopular with the dems... so that should be no excuse...

Frankly, I see some areas that could have been handled better in hindsight... but what have Republicans done to fix the problems?

Its illegal in my state to have facial hair without the governors written authorization!

In 1659 my state outlawed Christmas.
eating peanuts in church will get you jailed for up to one year.

It is illegal to go to bed without first having a full bath.
It is illegal to put tomatoes in clam chowdahhh.(hint)

Young pretty Mexican girls working as hookers at the USA border towns and stated that the numbers have risen by 4 times in the last 1.5 years and that the cost for the hookers have gone way down. It stated that some hookers trick for as cheap as $5.00 to $10.00 per trick. I know this is real sad but the TV also stated that these young women loved the quick USA dollars......It almost seemed as if the report tried to glorified turning tricks as a good way to earn USA DOLLARS.

My question......Do you think that reports like these are true or not
- Is it true that the number of Mexican hookers have increased in the last 1.5 years
- Is it true that the cost of hookers have gone down
- Is it true that Mexicans will do anything to make a quick American dollars even if its selling themselfs

First, he's questioned about not killing Osama Bin Laden four times when he had the chance, and not accepting him from Sudan when they offered him. And now, people are looking back at what the Clinton administration did for North Korea under Albright and at the behest of Jimmy Carter to aid their nuclear pursuits in the 90s. Okay ...where do I begin? ... about 4 1/2 years ago.. My boyfriend was wrongly accused of raping a young girl. There was no "Evidence" it was all circumstantial and hear-say. He had a lawyer, but later found out, after the lawyer took off with the money, that he was not barred. Now he and his father were in a situation where they didnt know what the heck to do... you have a young girl saying that this man raped her, your lawyer runs off. and your AFRAID your going to get hit with hard time! Now he and I as well as his family believe that there was a group of men or "boys" that had a vendetta against him. He was framed, I know that it sounds like hes saying what every other man who is or went to prison is saying. but this is not one of those cases! He went to prison for 2 years and was let go.. for RAPE mind you! They did not take blood! he was detained for 3 days before being "arrested" and now he is the Sex Offenders Registry..please he needs his life back youranswers are appreciated

I'm so tired of hearing about how having an abortion is not murder..The baby is inside of a woman...moving...has a brain...able to suck its thumb...has a heartbeat...To me that's a baby...I believe if the mothers health is at risk, and its not a late term pregnancy...but just to have an abortion because its an inconveinance...I don't understand how a doctor, much less a mother can lay there while the doctor pulls your baby out...all but the face, and continue to poke a tube through the back of the neck to suck out the brains...It's gruesome..but thats what late term abortion is...

There is a lot of opposition, but I don't know why? What is a good reason? I don't see anything wrong with it. In fact I'm all for it. People put up fences and brick walls between their neighbors even if they get along so why shouldn't the USA?
