Bush is far from protecting America. America has before one of the most hated countries in the world because of Mr. Bush. He is a little stupid boy who is trying to bully other nations into what he thinks the world should be. How can you protect America by assaulting people/countries who have not done anything to us.

Look at like this. If Bush gave a rats a-s-s about protecting America he would have addressed the border issue immediately after 9/11. Instead there still as wide open as ever.Repulbicans would rather further there own political agenda then protect children, so what does that tell you?

Bush expands the power of the executive at his whim.
He negates any responsibility the president has to be regulated by congress. This ought to have had the makings of a constitutional crisis long ago but we keep whistling along, while the flock of sheep on capitol hill let him build the beginning of something not yet established in North America before...a government with an unbridled executive, with no check or balance from anyone....

I don't depend on Bush to protect me, I depend on my own survival skill to protect me. Why should I care about Bush when I have to worry about bears breaking into my house and stealing food?

No one is working to protect America. Politicians are doing what they can to keep their power. The lack of terrorist attacks has been the grace of the terrorists. If you are educated on 20th Century American history you'll realize we've been fighting unwinnable wars for decades, which use massive amounts of money and keep you from being able to advance out of your class. Read 1984.

Bush's "battlefield" for the war on terror is in Iraq... he said so himself...
so our main battlefield is the one counrty in the middle east that had nothing to do with 9-11? yeah, I feel a lot safer...

The only way to find out is to Vote the Dems in--impeach and jail him--"steer the course" the other way and see what happens. My guess is that his act is more of a Bluff!!
