Americans are loyal people on a whole, to their country. Yes, some move elsewhere..mainly military for 4 years..BUT they always come back. They know 'theres no place like home'. Some stay behind, because its a new and different culture to them, and they want to learn more about it and its history. But on a whole, i'd say Americans love there 'homeland'... they always come back to what feels safe and right.

I've traveled aboard a few times to England.. lovely country, absolutely beautiful it is. And i would love to move there, just to learn more and see more... But, i couldnt stay there forever. the culture is so different, its like a whole new world. Home is where the heart is.. and no matter where i travel, home is here. I'm an American through and through... There's definitely no place like home!

Many moved to Canada during the Vietnam war, not always legally, though.
