Received an e-mail about Hillary Clinton , telling me she refused to meet with Goldstar Mother's . It didn't liiok gight to me , so I checked it out and It's not true . I deleted it . I found out that this e-mail has been passed around for years . I can't believe people didn't check it out first before passing it on .

Ok, if YOU KNOW THAT ITS UNTRUE, why even bother to check it out?? It is just a waste of everybody's time to spend energy in passing on untrue information.
Whats more, you could cause a lot of harm and trauma to the persom mentioned in the email, just think if this email was about YOU. i am positive you would want it deleted it right away!

If, as your question suggests, you know the information is untrue... why would you do either?
Hit the delete key.

Certainly never send the mail on. If you know who it came from tell the person he/she is wrong in sending untrue messages and tell him/her you're going to tell the hurt person about who is telling what about him/her.

I wouldn't forward anything, true or not. Rumors rarely get blamed on those responsible for starting them but on those who revel in passing them on, no matter how unbelievable.
Hit delete and sleep better.
