Plain and simple, I forgot that I had jury duty starting today, so now what? Am I going to get sent to jail?

Call the number on the jury notice. Talk to a live person and tell him your forgot. They will arrange for another time for you as a juror

No, just call them and say you were out of town on vacation and you just got your jury notice. As long as you have an explanation and you just don't ignore them it will be ok.

There will undoubtedly be a warrant issued for your arrest. It might be a good idea to phone as soon as possible to explain what happened, if you have a number to call.

No, even though you technically broke the law, they will look past it the first time. Even if you did it over and over, they will just fine you.

go to your district attorney's office immediately.failure to do so could land you in jail.
