Who was commander and cheif at the time? Commander and Cheif people, do those words not mean something. There was no excuse for it to have ever taken place!!!! Was Bush unaware of all the previous attempted bombings on the world trade centers? I highly doubt it!!!!!! He should have had more security on them!!! Oh yeah, and what is all thisshit I hear that Bush supports the military and all of that? If thats so true then how come since Bush has been in office, was my grandfathers military pension completely cut off? By the way, my grandfather served in WWII, he did the clean up effort. Yeah, he volunteered to sign up after the attack on Pearl Harbor!!! Rebublicans are all liars, they just want the rich to get richer and keep the poor working as slaves for them!!!!!!!!!!

I am a 27 female that is sick of struggling through school to get my degree. I am in a place I hate to live (Las Vegas) and keep getting jobs I can't stand...only because they pay well (food server). I am interested in the army because of the challenge, discipline and the financial security it has to offer. They also have a position in Public Affairs I'm really interested in (although they can't tell me if the position is actually available or not). I am in debt with school about $60,000 and they said part of the deal would be that they would pay off my school loans(although that's not guaranteed either). They'd also pay for me to finish my education. I am having a hard time deciding what to do. My family is not supportive and I feel like I should do it, but don't want to make any more mistakes! Can anyone tell me what it is REALLY like? The recruiters may just be saying what I want to hear. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Especially from those currently in the service) ;)

Those of you that did is proof that your hatred for the country and the people who still fight for your freedom to spew your vomit dont deserve to live with dogs.This womans husband is in Iraq and I cant believe the hatred I see.Many of you owe her and her husband an apology if you are any type of human being.Its one thing not to support the war or the President to to say the things you did and you know who you are.

I was involved in a car accident today and was cited for careless driving which of course I am trying to defend. I ws driving southbound on a major state hwy, when I came upon a stop van going to turn left. I was looking down at my speedometer and was going the speed limit also I had a lot on my mind and was thinking . I think either the van had pulled in front of me or her turning signals were on. However, I cannot recall everything. My question is a police report was done and the lady confess she had her blinkers on and I said I never saw her. Can I get rid of the is ticket and not have my ins. or this on my record. Where is the proof? any advice appreciated. Thank you

This is the reason people are UPSET. Illegal aliens are over running our schools. Over running our hospitals, social services, trying to change the LANGAUAGE of our country because they won't assimilate and accept ENLGISH. This is WRONG!A guest worker program is RIDIDICUOUS. Their meager wages, legal or not will NOT pay for what they are getting for "free" here. ILLEGALS are making out like bandits on LEGAL TAX PAYERS. If people can't come here LEGALLY and respect our LAWS - that ALONE should make people NOT want them here - thumbing their noses at our LAWS is not a good sign. It devalues our EXISTING IMMIGRATION LAWS that need to be ENFORCED NOW. There is NO NEED TO CHANGE LAWS. ENDFORCE and add other laws to make sure people, whoever they are, come here LEGALLY and we get LAW ABIDING PEOPLE

I could care less about Monica Lewinski, heck, who doesn't like sex? Maybe that's why Bush always looks like he's about ready to have an anurism, he doesn't get enough, but let's be honest the only party to vote for to get us out of this economical nightmare the republicans have created is the democrats. It's nothing personal, us democrats understand that you republicans were all born with silver spoons in your mouths so therefore have no clue as to how to balance a personal budget, much less the nations. I hope everyone votes democrat in November, so we can have a better chance at winning the presidency back in 2008.

I know you can stay in Mexico for 6 months with a tourist visa before you have to go back to the USA..... but if you just go south into Guatamala instead of back to the US border, is that legal? Could a person just go from country to country, staying in each as long as it was legal?

Mexico doesn't like The U.S. Congress' plan to build a wall along 700 miles of the border, and its foreign secretary, Luis Derbez, said he may take the issue to the United Nations.

Congress approved the border fence plan last month, before adjourning for the November elections. President George W. Bush has said he will sign it into law.

Mexico sent a diplomatic note last week criticizing the plan and asking the president to veto the legislation.

Speaking to reporters in Paris, Derbez said U.S. immigration policy was being used for political gain. On a tour of Europe, he said he was raising the matter with his counterparts in France, Italy and Spain.

Away from your political leanings please. Communism is a economical model not a political one. It is actually the opposite of capitalism. Dictatorship is the opposite of democracy. You technically could have a democratic communism (see star trek) I find communism a utopian idea that has not or can not be applied with the present human mind. (nor would I want it to) Even in capitalism people try to screw the system, and we have seen what they do in "communism.

So where did this misunderstanding come from. Is it just left over from the cold war (which is my thought) or is it capitalist propoganda (everybody uses it, to think they don't is nieve). What do you think?

Just to avoid the insults I'm thinking of the framework of political philosophy/ history I am not a communist (I don't have that much trust for my fellow man or leaders).
