conservatives have been taught to hate her. To be honest, I don't know much about her, but I know everyone around me hates her because I live around people who are mostly conservative. I have yet to have an opinion myself, but if I was like most people, I would hate her because everyone else does.

Your second question hits it on the nail! What has she done? Other then being a party lacky, holding a fruitless position under her husband's regime (wasn't she behind the universal healthcare program), and getting elected senator based on name recognition alone, I personally don't believe she has the experience to lead our country as President.
Listen to some of the venom in her speeches - example: on Martin Luther King day - she was one of the few who invoked the race card - accusing the president of running the whitehouse like a plantation! Keep in mind President Bush has placed more minorities in more high positions then any other president in history!
I don't hate her, I just don't want her representing ME as president! If the US populace wants a woman for president, how about these alternative choices - Christine Todd Whiteman - was governess of New Jersey AND former head of the EPA under Bush. Or Elizabeth Dole - Former, and very successful head of the International Red Cross, and current Senator from the state of North Carolina. Either of these women would make a far better president than Hillary!

I am a Republican and admittedly would never vote for Hillary because I do not agree with her policies. I do not hate her I just come from a different part of the political spectrum. That may make me more qualified than others to answer this question.
As for Republicans; we disagree with her policies, that is all. I have seen little hate coming from my conservative friends directed at her. Yes we realize she is a potential Presidential candidate/foe but it is pure politics.
With moderates she may not be hated but she is not as popular as her husband. I think this is because of her personality. I never once agreed with Bill Clinton, the few occasions he went right I was left. But it was plain to see that he had a likable personality, she does not. Bill seems likable, Hillary is cold and abrasive.
The real hate I see directed at Hillary comes from the far left. I remember watching an episode of Hardball and seeing a hardcore leftist interrupt her. The interruption did not even involve her support for the war. I believe that leftists think she is not liberal enough. I believe they are shooting themselves in the foot. With Bill's superior campaigning skill she could get elected, she can win. At least they would get most of what they want. Instead the will run a Micheal Moore style crazy more to their liking and get to enjoy another Republican president.

In the Whitewater problem, she was involved in deals where a person who made all their payments for years on their house but missed one, would lose their house. It made me start to distrust her, but I figured, hey, everyone makes mistakes.
Then, sad to say, the Lewinsky scandal bothered me. There was something about the way Hilary handled herself that just didn't seem right. It always felt like she was mad at the wrong people. I felt that she should have been mad at her husband. But that was a tough situation. I probably would have been bawling like a baby.
Then, just when I think she would have had enough of politics, she goes and runs for election in New York. And she's not from there. It seems so very false.
I hear very little press about her when she isn't attacking the right, so it's hard to see what her platform is (and to be fair I don't pay her too much attention since I'm not from NY).
She just seems angry all the time, and I don't think anger is a way to be a good leader. I used to be very impressed with her. I thought she was a strong intelligent woman, etc. But somewhere down the road, she turned into this nagging shrewish woman.

I certainly don't hate the woman, I just wouldn't vote for her. She has a really spotty voting record in the Senate, so I wouldn't vote for her on principle. I think the Democrats need a strong leader with experiance, neither of those things fit Hillary.
Also, I frankly don't think she'd win. I think she'll get the nomination, enough Democrats miss Bill and like her enough to give it to her, but I don't think she'd win the popular vote. Too many people feel cheated by her husband to vote for her, and the Republicans have a readymade slur campeign for her.
I don't dislike her, I think in a few years she'll be a decent Senator, I just don't think she's the best presidential candidate out there, so I won't vote for her.
I wish there were women running for president I did like, though. I find it really frustrating that I can't vote for her, because I won't let the Republicans win again if I can help it. I really want a good strong woman candidate to run, so people can get behind her.
Women need to take more of a role in American government.

She just comes off like a politician who thinks she is bigger than the government. Newt Gingrich, Ted Kennedy, Tom Delay and Rumsfield all come off the same way. It just seems like they are in it for themselves.
I like people who honestly seem they are trying to change things like Janet Reno, John McCain, Al Gore, Rudy Giulianni, Colin Powell and Christine Todd Whitman.

Rush Limbaugh is a junkie. The pedophile from Florida is ,well,a pedophile . Hillary has done nothing to deserve the trash talk.Imagine if she was caught scoring prescription pills while e-mailing the young pages for sexual favours.Conservatives never learn.

She comes across as a mean furious female. That doesn't mean she is, she has not the charm needed for a woman to succeed in any field. Women have to be better than any man, be able to charm both men and women, as well as be persuasive in making her case. It's a tough job, but being tough is not enough.for a woman.

I assume by your question that you are a fellow Liberal. Conservatives do not hate. We aggressively work to contain. We do not agree with the socialized, liberal, anti-american views that the senator holds dear. Our goal is to show the un-advised and under-educated the truth behind her agendas. The power of our country is in power of the electoral process. Democrats believe in the media.

You are right. What has she done?? besides tell people what they want to hear. I don't hate her but I honestly do not believe she has the conviction, passion, or heart to run this country.
